§ 1Getting started

Three steps, no manual needed. (Yes, we see the irony.)

  1. Install Kite. One installer for Windows 10 and 11. After that it never asks for administrator rights again.
  2. Paste your key. The link you got from us. Kite fetches the servers and keeps them fresh on its own.
  3. Press Connect. Green means you’re through. Local sites stay local, everything else simply opens.
§ 2What you’ll see

A calm window that tells you the truth.

Kite shows where you are, how fast it is and how the line has behaved. When something goes wrong it says so in plain words — and usually fixes it before you notice.

Small things, done carefully.

Whole PC or browser
Send every app through the tunnel, or only set the Windows proxy.
Smart routing
Local sites go direct, blocked ones go through. Your bank never sees a foreign address.
Kill switch
If the tunnel drops, Windows holds the internet shut until Kite is back.
AI lock
Claude and ChatGPT only ever travel through the tunnel, apps included.
Mends itself
Checks the line every 30 seconds, reconnects and switches to a healthier server on its own.
Updates itself
New versions arrive signed, with one click.
